Common knowledge of Optical Terminal

(1) What’s the difference between PDH Optical Terminal and SDH Optical Terminal?

In digital transmission system, there has two digital transmission series, one is called “Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy”, PDH for short, and another is called “Synchronous Digital Hierarchy”, SDH for short.

PDH (Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy) Optical Terminal is low-capacity optical terminal and it is generally used in pairs, called point-to-point application, the capacity is generally 4E1, 8E1, 16E1.

SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy Optical Terminal is capacious, is generally 16E1 to 4032E1.

SDH can substitute PDH, but PDH can not substitute SDH.

 

(2) Error of optical terminal: What’s the matter with dcc connection failure? How to resolve, and how about temperature limit?

      Connection failure of dcc means your network management channel connection has something wrong, mainly check network management interface and circuit.

      Optical terminal generally can working at the environment of 50 degree, if the power consume of the equipment is high, the heat productivity also be high, only keep the working environment stay at about 0-50 degree, the equipment would not has problems, if exceed the range, the equipment may breaks down, put an air conditioner at the equipment best, and the problem of temperature limit will be solved.

 

(3) How to transmit forward switching value for optical terminal?

     Only the optical terminal which needs to tailor-make the switching value can transmit the switching value. Many factories can produce, this equipment can not transmit, only need to attach the module of switching value.

 

(4) I want to ask the optical terminal how to connect the jumper wire key-press? I only connect the monitoring video signal, whether connect the bnc to the launch optical terminal directly?

     The whole transmission is that: camera – optical terminal – jumper wire – coupler – tail fiber – access optical fiber – tail fiber – jumper wire – receiving equipment – matrix or DVR

 

(5) Does the optical terminal can connect 2m coaxial cable directly?

   Fix the copper wire of coaxial cable to the pin of plug, and use the small screw to fix it. Put the shielded net cable press on outer carefully, use metal gland to fasten it, and then tighten the plastic cap, pay attention to separate the two parts, can not be in touch.

 

(6) What equipment dose the two ends of optical terminal connect?

   The 2M in general optical terminal is connected with transmission relay board of the switch, there has dedicated connector at the two sides, some are crimping and some are welding, and it must be receiving to sending, sending to receiving. It is transmission signal wire in the middle of general 2M cable, and screening wire of outer cross hatch.

 

(7) Does the VGA Optical Terminal very powerful? But what is the VGA Optical Terminal?  And how powerful it is?

      VGA Digital Video Optical Terminal is use optical fiber to transmit high-resolution (the highest 1600x1200) analog or digital computer video signal and send the image signal to the equipment on the display terminal hundreds of meters even several kilometers away. GTT series optical terminal use pure digital transmission mode, it can fundamentally overcome the phenomenon of streak and ghost when transmit high-band signal in ordinary copper cable transmission system, reappear the image. GTT series optical terminal transmit the optical signal, no electromagnetic radiation, the system has exceptionally high security. And FS series optical terminal can separate the display equipment and signal source on electric, has exceptionally high anti-interference ability.
